Laser engraving and etching on stainless steel is super cool—not just for industrial uses, but also for creating stunning artwork, personalised gifts, and high-end branding.

🔥 Here’s a cool fact:

You can actually add colour to stainless steel using a laser—without any dyes or paints. It’s called laser annealing.

🎨 Laser Color Marking (Annealing)

This process uses precise heat control to oxidize the surface of the stainless steel. By adjusting the laser’s speed, frequency, and power, you can make the steel develop different oxide layers—and those layers reflect light differently, which is how you get colours like blue, green, gold, purple, etc.

Think of it like controlled rusting, but in an incredibly detailed, artistic, and intentional way.

• It’s permanent, because you’re changing the material itself—not adding ink or coating.
• It doesn’t damage the surface or create grooves like deep engraving does.
• It’s great for things like logos on luxury knives, watch backs, or custom jewelry.
